Based in Box Hill South, the Piano Pillars Academy studio offers a focused environment centered around student success. Lessons are held on a Kawai RX-3 grand piano, a high-quality professional instrument, to ensure an effective and enjoyable learning experience.
Our Admission process is designed to ensure long-term suitability and success:
- Step 1: Consultation - a no-obligation phone call to discuss the student's goals, current level, and studio fit.
- Step 2: Initial Lesson - a single, no-obligation session to experience our teaching style. Standard fees apply.*
- Step 3: Four-week trial period - a short period to ensure a long-term fit. Standard fees apply.*
- Final step: Enrolment - formal admission into the studio.

Individual Piano Lessons
Ideal for the dedicated young pianist. Detailed and systematic one-on-one lessons, highly individualized to meet each student's learning needs and performance objectives.
The lessons include various components designed to develop fluent, injury-free technique and deepen the student's musicianship, while learning a wide range of classical repertoire.
Students learn not only how to read and play music, but also how to think music.
Ideal for those students wishing to dive deeper into the world of music.
Theory and Aural Skills
This course can be taken in preparation for an AMEB/ABRSM/Trinity exam, or in conjunction with piano lessons to support the student's overall musicianship skills.
